At Supporting Independent Living Cooperative (SILC), we believe that people with disability with their families, are in the best position to make decisions about where they live, who they live with, and who supports them.

Who is SILC?

SILC is an NDIS registered provider in NSW, that assists families to be actively involved in designing and managing a supported housing solution for their family member with disability.

We have supported 15 groups of families, enabling them to establish homes that have significantly contributed to positive life outcomes for all involved.”

We work with people with disability and their network of informal supports (family and friends), who have the desire and belief that self-directing and managing their supports will provide the choice, control and positive outcomes they are seeking.

We exist so that families do not have to navigate all that’s involved with setting up and running a home for their loved one on their own.
